Normandy D-Day Beaches – full day (12 hours)

We have two guides for this fascinating day out. One, for a general overview of the beaches, museums and cemeteries and the other, a relative of General Montgomery, for a more in-depth discovery.

The day will take in the town of William the Conqueror, 11th century France. This is followed by the most interesting museum in the region: The Memorial of Caen. Discover the charming town of Bayeux (first city to be liberated in France ), famous for its tapestry and cathedral. Visit the famous beaches and have lunch in a typical bistro in an old port town nearby.

It’s a long day, but definitely worth it.
