Starting with the medieval foundations, we work our way through the Ancient Egyptian hall, onto the charismatic Venus of Milo, Goddess of Beauty and Love, then Diana the Hunter, silver objects found at Pompeii , the Winged Victory poised majestically on her own, the French Crown Jewels and the Apollo Gallery.
Discover the greatest and most famous French paintings in the world, such as Napoleon’s inauguration at the Notre Dame and the famous Delacroix, Liberty Saving the People (better known as the poster for Les Miserables). See the intricate details of the Dying and Rebellious slaves by Michelangelo, Paolo Veronese, the royal stables and OF COURSE the Mona Lisa! We end up at the stunning apartments of Napoleon III.
