In the Footsteps of Napoleon and Josephine - half day

This Walk traces those parts of the lives of Napoleon and Josephine that are still to be found on the streets and in the quartiers of present day Paris . Follow in the footsteps of Napoleon’s youth and rise above the ranks to become the most famous military person in French history. The Walk follows their courtship, coronation, military haunts and great monuments built by the Emporer. Visit the sites and have a glimpse into their daily lives where they lived, dined and dazzled society in their hey-day.

To continue the theme, we can organize the following:

Private visit of the stunning private mansion, Hotel de Bourrienne. This small 18th century palace is open by appointment only. Behind its ordinary façade, the mansion retains its original (and thus slightly musty) Empire décor. You'll be able to imagine what it was like to be Napoleon's wife, as Josephine did indeed sleep here in one of the delicately ornate bedrooms.
